Diana is the italic Goddess of hunt and witchcraft, protectress of women and children, She is also identified with the moon and the wild nature.
Her symbols are maidens, bow and arrows and the waxing moon, She is often depicted together with hunting dogs, as archeress or holding a torch, dressed with a short and light tunic representing her freedom. Diana is a virgin Goddess and Her virginity is to be interpreted accordingly to its original meaning of emotional independence and self-sovereignty.
